Merged in your browser — the files are never uploaded
About this tool
Add your PDFs, arrange them in the order you want, and download one merged file. Everything runs locally with pdf-lib: pages are copied object by object, so text stays selectable, vectors stay sharp, and nothing is re-compressed — and no file ever leaves your browser, which matters for contracts, invoices, and internal documents.
Ordering is the part most mergers get wrong. Drag a row in the list, nudge it with the arrow buttons, or sort by name so scan-2 lands before scan-10. There is no upload step and no size cap beyond your device's memory, so a stack of statements or a split scan merges in a second or two.
Frequently asked questions
Do my PDFs get uploaded anywhere?
+
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser with pdf-lib — nothing is sent to a server. That is the main reason to use this over upload-based mergers for sensitive documents.
How do I change the order of the files?
+
Drag a row up or down in the list, or use the arrow buttons on each row. Files are merged top to bottom and the number on the left shows the final position. “Sort by name” orders them naturally, so page-2 comes before page-10.
Does merging reduce quality?
+
No. Pages are copied as-is, not rasterized or re-encoded: text stays selectable, embedded fonts and images come across untouched, and the merged file is roughly the sum of the originals.
Can it merge password-protected PDFs?
+
No. Encrypted PDFs are skipped with a notice when you add them. Remove the password in a viewer that can open the file, then merge the unlocked copy.
What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
+
Page content, links, and annotations are carried over, but document-level structures — outlines/bookmarks and the shared form (AcroForm) definition — are not merged. If bookmarks matter, add them again after merging.
